Basic Information about what is a Horoscope and how do you read that?
Horoscope has 12 blocks, they are called houses. where 1 is written as the most important house it is called ascendant or 1st house counting on Anti-clockwise 2nd house 3rd house 4th house till 12th house. Houses start from an Ascendant only, this house represents the East Direction. It is called a rising sign because the Sun rises in the east. so everything begins with an ascendant house in astrology.
Each house is 30 degree long, simple calculations 30*x 12 is equal to 360*  Horoscope is nothing but a division of Sky, Divided in 12 parts this is how a basic Horoscope is made. These 12 parts are houses and each house has a different association with that, which includes every aspect of our life.  First house is all about a person's life purpose, the 2nd house is the family, 4th house is Mother or our home.
Different planets sitting in different houses at different degrees give different results for each horoscope, and then different planets aspects and conjunction also gives different results.
All these things need to be considered while reading a horoscope.

What is the Difference Between Vedic Astrology and Western Astrology?
The main difference between Western astrology and Vedic astrology is the way the position of the planets are measured along the belt of stars called the zodiac. Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac, which is based on the position of the sun. this system takes the first day of spring (around March 21), as the entrance of the sun into the first degree of Aries—regardless of where the sun actually is against the backdrop of the sky. In contrast, Vedic astrology uses the sidereal zodiac, in which the stars are fixed. The sidereal zodiac is based on the fixed-star constellations, and it measures the actual astronomical positions of planets against those constellations. In this system, the sun’s entrance into Aries is marked by the sun passing through the observable fixed stars of the constellation of Aries.

What is the difference between the tropical and sidereal zodiacs?
While these two measurements of the sky coincided more than 2,000 years ago, a difference in measurement has accrued since then of about 24 degrees. This difference is caused by a phenomena called the “precession of the equinoxes,” which makes it so that the point of the vernal equinox drifts back slowly in relation to the fixed stars. There is almost one entire zodiac sign of variance between them! Due to this difference between the two zodiacs, it is usually surprising for most people to find out that their ascendant, sun, moon, and other planets are often in different signs in both the systems.
